Newport Gwent Dragons have launched a calendar for 2005 featuring posed shots of the players.
The photographs were taken during the players day off at one of Wales top modelling agencies Zero One studios in Newport and should any of The Dragons look for alternate careers then a few of them could branch out into the world of modelling.
The players had fun making the calendar and this is reflected in the shots. “Rather than have a calendar of action shots of the players we thought we would go for a slightly more sophisticated and professional look and have the pictures taken in the studio,” commented Commercial Director Gethin Jenkins. “The finished product is very polished and provides a view of the team away from the pitch.” The calendar will be on sale from Friday November 5th at the club shop in Rodney Parade and some of the proceeds will go towards The Dragons nominated charity The Sparkle Appeal.
