Newport Gwent Dragons kept their Challenge Cup hopes firmly alive with a bonus point win over Bucuresti on Friday night.
It took The Dragons just over two minutes to score when Nathan Brew crossed the try line. Ten minutes later Adam Black bulldozed over for a converted try. Bucuresti got on the score sheet when captain Valentin Calafeteanu landed a penalty.
There was a ten minute break in play when No.8 Cosmin Ratiu was stretchered off following an incident in the tackle area. However, further tries by Aled Brew, Colin Charvis 2 and Kevin Morgan put the home side 40 points up at the break.
The second half saw The Dragons bring on all their replacements and there were further tries from Gareth Cooper, Kevin Morgan, Nathan Brew and Richard Fussell before Bucuresti were rewarded with a try through replacement hooker Flavius Dobre.
