The Dragons trailed after seven minutes but stormed ahead when Gareth Wyatt back from injury scored The Dragons first try while Captain and Man of the Match Jason Forster was in superb form and led from the front. He capped his performance with a brace of tries.
The Dragons pack were in superb form out muscling the Leinster forwards and getting stuck into everything. They displayed a hard edge and in a physical encounter snuffed out the threat of Felipe Contepomi. Jamie Ringer was prominent in the loose while Steve Jones performed well at hooker and Rhys Thomas didn’t take a backward step all game. Rhys Oakley along with Andrew Hall won their fair share of lineout ball and both got stuck in.
Fly half Craig Warlow slotted over 16 points, four penalties and two conversions but left before the end with a damaged knee.
