Coach Paul Turner is targeting the game against the Scottish capital side as a must win game saying, "It is vital that we get our Magners League campaign back on track after two disappointing away results. Edinburgh will be a tough challenge but the challenge for us it to put together a decent performance in front of the home supporters. Edinburgh are a strong side and have begun their Magners League campaign well but if we play to our potential, cut down on our error count then there is no reason why we cannot build on our last two home results and get another home victory. Our last two results have been a bit of a reality check for us. It was disappointing to lose to Bristol but even more disappointing and frustrating was the loss to Leinster. It has given us a bit of a wake up call, we cannot afford to stand off tackles and we need to ensure we get our intensity right against a well-organised and strong Edinburgh side. We have made a solid start to our Magners League campaign and need to continue that."
The Dragons have won their last two games at home against Bayonne and Northampton and have won their last two games against Scottish opposition. Leading the side on Friday night will be flanker Colin Charvis. The Dragons have announced a 25 man squad for the game with the team being announced following Wednesday's training session.
