The Dragons U18s will be hoping to go one better than their U16s did last week when the WRU Reebok Regional U18 Championships get under way this evening.
Full back Ieuan Coombes leads The Dragons side this evening with the likes of Nathan Preece and Gareth Dare giving the back division an exciting look.
Dragons regional high performance director Ron Shottle said, "We were pleased with the return from our three sides last season and would hope to do even better than that this time around.
"Obviously we have a difficult opening game against the Ospreys but looking at the four sides, I think each and every game is going to be a tough one."
Victory in last season's final for the Ospreys means they are likely to start as favourites once more, but the competition promises to be particularly fierce especially from the Scarlets who won the inaugural competition in 2005.
