Having suffered badly in the opening games at U16 and U18 level, The Dragons' U20s found the Ospreys too hot to handle in last night's opening game in the WRU Reebok Regional U20 Championship.
And for High Performance Manager Ron Shottle, a third successive victory completes another disappointing start.
"It's difficult to put your finger on it, although injuries did play their part," said Shottle.
"We trailed 24-0 at half time and deserved to be that far behind. But then, having discovered ourselves at half time, we held them out for 25 minutes of the sedond half and looked their equal.
"Then as bodies tired, they ran in another three tries."
Last season's U18 captain Rory Pitman bagged one of the Ospreys' half dozen with Justin Tipurick, Rhys Lawrence, David Evans, Scott Baldwin and Nathan White completing the rout.
Dan Biggar, who made his senior Ospreys debut against Newbury in pre season, kicked four conversions and a drop goal to finish the night with 11 points.
