Looking ahead to the game with Glasgow this week, we welcome back two players in Rhys "Stinky" Thomas from his time with our Grand Slam winning national side and Ashley "Rubber Nose" Smith who recently represented Wales in hairdressing.
The excitement around the changing rooms is amazing at the moment. Players signing extensions to contracts....new players joining. I hope this is reflected in the way we play this afternoon. The arrival of John, George, Paul and Ringo will definitely help strengthen our push towards honours for next season's campaign.
But seriously...the club has spared no expense in seeking out new talent for next season. This is demonstrated by simply checking Paul Turner's suntan as he has scoured the rugby beaches of the world searching for players.
Sarcasm aside....the region is moving forward. A new stadium within a couple of years and players from the region featuring at every level of the national setup, with particularly great representation this week in the winning U18s team currently in Ireland.
So let's cheer on the Dragons. If it rains, I will watch and cheer too, as it is not in my contract to play more than five games in the wet each season
And finally, could the few people cheering us as the "Drag queens" please stop...you're offending Kevin "The Frown" Morgan!
