The rugby stars of the future had a chance to rub shoulders with their heroes at Rodney Parade on Tuesday when they trained alongside the Dragons squad in the first of the Dragons annual Easter camps.
The day-long sessions provide an opportunity for the youngsters to develop their rugby skills in particular their agility, handling, decision making and techniques within the contact area.
They all took away with them a t-shirt, course certificate, complimentary ticket for a game next season and a match programme signed by all of the Dragons.
Camp Director Mike Sage said “It’s always a pleasure to see so many kids here getting involved in rugby and there were certainly some talents for the future.”
