Thank you – you have been our 16th man and now it is our turn to pay you back.
That is the message to the Newport Gwent Dragons fans as the region prepares to repay that loyalty with special ticket deals.
Following increased attendances and a season of fabulous atmospheres at the Parade, the Dragons are saying thank you to the fans with fantastic ticket deals for the remaining two home Magners League matches, against Connacht Rugby and Leinster, as the Dragons look to secure automatic qualification for next season’s Heineken Cup.
Dragons Chief Executive Gethin Jenkins said: “Attendances have gone up this season at Rodney Parade, despite the financial climate. Boxing Day saw our first sell-out against the Blues and we would like to give something back.
“In addition to our regular supporters, we have had over 6,000 children representing 162 schools, rugby clubs and youth groups, from all corners of the region come to support the Dragons as part of our many community projects.
Captain Tom Willis said “The team is going to need as much support as possible in this last push for Heineken Cup qualification and we know that our supporters will continue to be fantastic – as they have been all season.”
For tickets bought before the day of the match against Connacht Rugby there will be Dragons’ family packs which offer entry for 2 adults and 2 children for just £20. Single terrace tickets will be £12 whilst selected stand tickets will be just £17.
In addition to the offer for the Connacht game, anyone buying their tickets for Connacht before 18 April will get a voucher to entitle them to the same great discount for the season finale against Leinster.
