A young Dragons Under 18 Development side Travelled up to Swindon last night to take on a Dorset and Wiltshire county Under 18 team, the game was played at Supermarine RFC and they came away with a very hard fought 19 - 17 victory.
The game was a huge physical challenge for the Young Dragons side considering half of their squad were 16 year olds and have another season at Under 18 level,but nevertheless they were up for the challenge against a full blown Under 18 county side.
The scorers for the Young Dragons on the night came from tries by Rhys Stephens,Lewis Gittings and John Lavender, two of them being converted by the Young Flyhalf Garin Vivian.
There were a number of noteable performances - too many to mention - but coaches Nigel Smith and Jeremy Rogers will be delighted again by the character and determination of this young side who they can see growing with every game.
