The Dragons Under 18 teams made it four from four with a 20 - 8 win last night against Cardiff and the Vale District Under 19 at Abertillery Park.
The first half was a very scrappy affair ending with a 3 - 3 stalemate. The Dragons penalty coming from Mathew O`Brien.
The Young Dragons upped their performance in the second half and after some decent ball retention they scored a try in the right hand corner through wing Rhys Davies which Micheal Davies converted.
The Dragons second try came through Abertillery product playing on his home ground Daniel Haile who cut the Cardiff backline in two to cross in the left hand corner which was again converted by Micheal Davies Davies also added another penalty to make the final score 20 - 8 to the Dragons.
Coaches Nigel Smith and Jeremy Rogers will not be overly excited by the performance, but will take the win nevertheless against a very abrasive older side.
