The Newport Gwent Dragons U16’s will return to action tomorrow with their first pre-season friendly ahead of the WRU Regional Championships.
The Dragons will take on regional rivals the Ospreys U16s at Cross Keys RFC kicking off at 6.30pm. The game will give the budding stars of the future the chance to stake a claim in front of the age-grade coaches and management ahead of the Regional Training Programme which kicks off on August 18th.
A number of high-profile senior Dragons have come though the system and made their mark in the junior levels including Ashley Smith, Jason Tovey and Danny Lydiate.
