Following the groin injury picked up over the festive period, back row Joe Bearman was seen by a specialist in Bradford today who has advised that the 30-year old does not need surgery at this time.
Joe is following a carefully managed course of rehabilitation and training, and it is hoped that the number 8 may be available to play for the region again in 4-6 weeks.
“It is obviously good news that Joe does not need surgery at this time” said Dragons Rugby Manager Robert Beale “We will however keep the situation under careful review to ensure the best possible outcome.”
