Newport Gwent Dragons are pleased to announce the season ticket packages for the 2010-2011 season.
Following a fantastic 2009-2010 in which the Dragons took notable scalps from the likes of Munster, Ospreys, Saracens, Sale Sharks and Edinburgh (twice!), boasted an impressive home record and achieved the ultimate aim of automatic Heineken Cup qualification, we are able to confirm the prices of season tickets for the 2010-2011 season.
Each season ticket will guarantee entrance to 16 home matches: 11 Magners League – which now welcomes two Italian teams in to the competition - 3 Heineken Cup pool stage matches and 2 LV= Cup pool stage games. Every season ticket will also be accompanied with a book of exclusive offer vouchers including discounts in the Club Shop, money off match day food & drink, vouchers for free tickets and more.
Early Bird prices for full paying adults start from as little as £160, that equates to an incredible, £10 per match, half the ‘pay on the day’ cost. Dragons supporters under the age of 16 can pick up a season ticket for as little as £20, that works out at just £1.25 per game.
These massive Early Bird discounts are available up until 30 June with current season ticket holder’s seats reserved until 16 July. Further reductions can be claimed if you are also buying a season ticket for one of the Gwent based Principality Premiership clubs.
Following positive feedback from last season we will again be offering supporters the chance to spread the cost of their ticket with a three-month interest free payment plan.
Chief Executive, Gethin Jenkins said:
‘Next season’s season ticket packages really do represent superb value for money. Though prices have increased a little from last year due to the additional Magners League fixtures, and the fact that we have seen no significant increase in the last few seasons, you still get a fantastic deal with the Dragons. Not only do you have the chance to watch 16 matches of top quality rugby action from as little as £10 per match, but you also get a voucher book crammed with fantastic exclusive offers including up to £84 worth of free match tickets.
‘The support shown by the Rodney Parade faithful this year has been magnificent helping the players to some great results while playing outstanding rugby. If we can build on that support, getting ‘the 16th man’ to roar even louder next season, then there’s no telling what this rapidly developing team can achieve.
‘A vital part of that support is provided by people committing themselves to the Dragons and signing up for a season ticket. With huge Early Bird savings on offer there’s no better time to do that than now.’
