Dragons Wing Aled Brew has been invited to train with the Welsh squad as they prepare for this season’s autumn international series.
Brew, who was the region’s top try scorer last season will join the squad next week and will be looking to prove himself to Warren Gatland and claim a full call up to the current 33-man squad.
“I’m obviously delighted,” said Brew. “I’m really pleased with the rugby I’ve played for the Dragons over the last 2 seasons and I feel I’ve developed a greater consistency in my game.
“I know that this is a great opportunity to prove my case to the national selectors and I’ll certainly be doing everything I can to secure a place in the Welsh squad in the future.”
