There is a double header of European Cup action in store for Dragons fans of both codes of rugby in Glasgow on the weekend of 8th-10th October.
The Newport Gwent Dragons face Glasgow in the Heineken Cup on the Friday night, but on Sunday afternoon, the Dragons of Wales Rugby League face Scotland in the Alitalia European Cup in the 13 man game.
The game will be held at Old Anniesland, Crow Road, Glasgow, G13 1PL (2:30pm Kick Off) and is very likely to feature stars like former rugby union legend Gareth “Alfie” Thomas and the famous Warrington star Lee Briers playing for Wales.
This is Wales’ first game in the four-team tournament. They go on to face Ireland in Neath on Sunday 17th October (kick-off 2pm), then France in Albi a week later. The winners go through to face England, Australia and New Zealand in the 2011 Four Nations.
