FoNR are working with Rodney Parade Ltd to try and maximise the retail outlets at Rodney Parade on match days. We currently have a stall in the clubhouse at Newport RFC games and have tried to do the same at Dragons matches but the clubhouse is so busy that people can’t get close to the stall to browse and buy.
We are now going to use a mobile trailer shop parked outside the club at Dragons matches and will be selling the usual range of FoNR bits and pieces as well as Dragons merchandise in conjunction with the club shop.
We are trying to raise enough money to undertake a substantial infrastructure project for the clubhouse. We want to be able to provide a disabled toilet facility and also refurbish the ladies toilets in the Rodney Hall. Both areas will also be provided with baby changing facilities. FoNR believe that all of these facilities are well overdue and we want to do something to help the supporters attending matches at our ground.
We need your help though. We need extra hands to be able to man the stall on match days both before and after Dragons games. Would you be able to help out for an hour or two? Do something positive and put something back in to help your team.
