Dragons captain Tom Willis and his teammates will be raising money for the Christchurch appeal with a raffle over coming home games with the winner being drawn at half time of the regional clash against the Ospreys.
Tickets are just £2 each and the top prize is a framed test-fit Welsh jersey, signed by the 2011 Six Nations squad, with 2 Dragons jerseys, signed by the senior squad also up for grabs.
Fundraising has already begun with Tom Willis joining supporters on the buses to Gloucester, raising £500 in just one afternoon.
“I know that the people of Christchurch have had their world turned upside down and are hurting,” said Willis. “The city and its people have a massive challenge on their hands moving forward. It’s hard for us kiwis being so far away from home at a time like this, but the reaction and support from the people of Wales has been tremendous.”
