Dragon Wing Adam Hughes has beaten off competition from Aled Brew and Toby Faletau to be the Argus Dragon of the season 2010-2011 in a poll voted for by Argus readers.

But Adam is still struggling to get his head round the success he has seen this year, having come into the season expecting to be a Premiership regular and hoping to make his Dragons Debut but having been brought in to cover injuries early in the season, the young pilot has
“It is getting a bit ridiculous now. I wasn’t even expecting to play much for the Dragons this season – featuring in almost every game has been a dream come true and to have won this recognition from the Dragons supporters is just crazy. I didn’t expect to retain my place when the boys who were injured at the beginning of the season came back but now I’ve managed to hold onto my place I certainly plan to step things up for next season – I will have to work hard but I’m not giving this up!”
