Newport Gwent Dragons and Regional Sports Schools
Regional Sports Schools are proud to be teaming up with Newport Gwent Dragons in a partnership to provide Rugby and other sports coaching opportunities to children aged 2-7 years old in the Gwent Region.
Regional Sports Schools are based in South Wales and have been providing coaching to children in school term times and holidays since 2005. Our sessions are aimed primarily at younger children and taught through fun and skills based games with interactive story based sessions for Pre-School aged children.
We currently provide sessions during the week at a number of Primary Schools in the Newport area and Saturday morning and school holiday sessions at Duffryn High School.
Our Saturday Rugby Programme will be taking bookings for a three week taster block starting on Saturday 26th November for the following classes:
9:00am-10:00am – Mini Dragons Rugby (age 4-6) at Duffryn High School
10:05am-10:35am – Tiny Dragons Rugby (Age 2-3) at Duffryn High School
10:40am-11:25am – Pre School Dragons Rugby (Age 3-4) at Duffryn High School
As well as top quality coaching, due to our new Dragons link up, players will receive opportunities throughout the course to receive FREE tickets to a Dragons game for their family as well as the chance to meet a Dragons player!
