As part of the redevelopment of Rodney Parade we are improving the facilities on the North Terrace to make it a more comfortable area to watch games from. To facilitate this we have altered the boundary of the Hazell Terrace, which will now represent the covered area directly in front of the Hazell Stand – the uncovered section will now be part of the North Terrace, with a barrier in place to demarcate the two terraces.
In view of this all areas of the Hazell Stand & Terrace will be serviced by Gate 2. Aside from the improvements this allows us to make to the Rodney Parade matchday experience; it will also improve our crowd control capabilities which are vital aspects of stadium safety.
This new arrangement will be in place from the Dragons v Ulster match, Friday 30 September – all access to the Hazell Stand or Terrace will now be through Gate 2.
