REGIONAL KIDS GET BEHIND THE DRAGONS

A record number of junior sides and school groups from across the region will be behind the Dragons as they take on Munster on Saturday (Rodney Parade, 6:30pm)

A record number of junior sides and school groups from across the region will be behind the Dragons as they take on Munster on Saturday (Rodney Parade, 6:30pm)

The groups will be attending the Munster match through the Community department’s popular ticketing schemes.

At every match the Dragons invite a number of schools and clubs to take part in the Guard of Honour which, this week, will be performed by Abertillery RFC, NHSOB RFC and Pontygof School.

On top of this, many schools and clubs have taken advantage of the community ticketing scheme which offers discounted tickets for school groups and junior clubs.

“The Community department has run ticketing schemes for Dragons matches for several seasons,” said Dragons Community Manager Mike Sage. “This season has been particularly successful with a bumper crowd set for this weekend’s game.”

“We’d like to say a special thank you to all of the schools and clubs who are joining us to get behind the Men of Gwent as we take on the Munstermen on Saturday.

“Bedwas U15s, Caerleon RFC, Caldicot Juniors, Caldicot Minis, Cwmcarn High School, Machen RFC, Nash College, Nelson RFC, Newbrigde RFC, Newport High School, NEWT Community group, NHSOB RFC U10s, U12s, U13s & U14s, Pill Juniors, Rhymney U14s, St Johns on the Hill, St Julians RFC, West Mon RFC and the WRU District Squads will all be in attendance.”

“We also have another 3 touring teams visiting in Wirral RFC, Millfield School and Galway RFC.”

If your school or club is interested in participating in the scheme, contact our Community Manager Mike Sage mike.sage@rodneyparadeltd.com
