Newport Gwent Dragons have boosted their ranks with 2 forward signings. Llanelli openside Nic Cudd and Llandovery loosehead Owen Evans have both joined the region. Cudd, who has signed a 1 year deal with the Men of Gwent has made 70 appearances for Llanelli, as well as 7 for the Scarlets and at 23 has represented Wales at every age-grade level. In addition to making over 70 appearances for his club, Evans represented Wales in the 2009 Junior World Cup and was in the Scarlets European squad for the 2010-11 season. He joins the Dragons on a 2 year contract. Dragons Director of Rugby said “I am delighted that Nic and Owen are joining the Dragons and would like to thank Anthony Buchanan of Llanelli RFC and Lyndon Lewis of Llandovery RFC for their assistance in these signings."
He also said, "Nic has recently been training with the Dragons and has fitted in well with the squad and I look forward to watching him playing in a Dragons shirt."
Owen will train with the squad on Monday for the first time and joins Aarron Coudley, Phil Price and Nathan Williams as part of the Dragons European Squad.
