The winning team earned their first away from home bonus point win since 2004. With tries from Jonathan Evans, Hallam Amos and two from Tom Prydie the Men of Gwent go into tomorrow’s (Saturday 4th April) match against Cardiff Blues with plenty of confidence.
The Men of Gwent have three changes made to the bench as prop Lloyd Fairbrother moves onto teh bench alongside Nic Cudd and Geraint Rhys Jones. They join Hugh Gustafson, Dan Way, Taulupe Faletau, Luc Jones and Tyler Morgan.
Looking forward to tomorrows knock out match in the European Quarter Finals against Cardiff Blues, director of rugby Lyn Jones commented: "I've no doubt that the Blues will come with a heavy pack and will try and dominate us there. Dale McIntosh (Blues coach) has talked about taking our maul away from us but we didn't use it last week and scored four tries, all from backline players. We can adapt to any style we want."
"These games are testing for individuals, they are one-offs. We are not in the league, we are in European competition.
"We beat them on Boxing Day at the Arms Park and they caught us on the rebound with our pants down so we want to make sure we have learnt our lessons."
