Faletau’s biggest game with the Dragons

Newport Gwent Dragons and Wales number 8 is back from Wales camp and hopes to reap the rewards from the Quarterfinal alongside his regional teammates.

Faletau who has played every minute in all five matches for Wales during the Six Nations Tournament and hopes that he can get back into the swing of things at the Welsh Region: “It can be hard coming back into the region after being away with Wales.

"You tend to forget the calls when you are away for so long but the boys have been helping me pick them up again."

During his time away the 24-year-old has had New Zealander Nick Crosswell filling his boots in the back row. Faletau said: "The boys have been on fire! I was leaving for Six Nations duty when Nick was arriving (from New Zealand) and fair play to the boys in the back row, they have been doing well."

Looking towards Saturdays big encounter against Cardiff Blues, he admits that this is a momentous occasion for both the Dragons and himself: "This is definitely the biggest game I've been involved in since I've been with the Dragons.

"The boys have had a smile on their faces in training and we are just looking ahead to the game. You have to keep calm in these derbies.

“We've got a lot of talent out wide and they just play what's in front of them at the moment. It's nice knowing they are outside us and they can make things happen."

Many sections of the ground are now sold out for Saturdays match, but there are tickets still available from just £10 for juniors in both the Sytner Stand and the North Terrace. Buy your tickets online by clicking the following link www.newportgwentdragons.com/tickets or by calling 01633 674990.
