The two backs will join up with the Rodney Parade outfit during their gruelling pre-season training schedule before beginning the season in September.
Welsh International Adam Warren began his rugby career in Llangennech. After playing his youth rugby there, he moved into the senior team and was spotted by Llandovery whom he played for in the 2010/11 season.
The 24 year old then moved to Scarlets and made his debut for them in September 2011 against Aironi. After impressing during his first season with the West Wales Region, the centre made his international debut against the Barbarians on the 2 June 2012 at the Millennium Stadium. Warren also has international age grade caps from Wales U20s and the Welsh 7s team.
On his arrival at Rodney Parade, Warren said: “I'm excited for a new challenge. The Dragons are a developing side with a lot of young players and I am looking forward to training and playing with the boys, whilst adding my experience to the back line.
“I'm looking forward to a big pre-season and working towards the 2015/16 season, with the aim to get good game time and make a good impression at the club.”
In addition to Adam Warren, Newport Gwent Dragons have signed London Welsh winger Nick Scott.
Scott joined the English outfit in February 2012 and made his debut for London Welsh against London Scottish. The try scorer came into his own during the play-offs as he finished the 2011/12 season with seven tries in twelve Championship appearances, the last of which came in the first leg of the Championship final at Mennaye Field.
Before his time at London Welsh, the 25-year-old was part of the Bath set-up after coming through their academy. Prior to this Scott had spent one season with Bristol Rugby academy whilst also having trained with Newbury too. In the season of 2010/11 Scott made his first appearance for Bath against Wasps in the LV=Cup.
Scott has also represented his country at age grade with honours from England U19s.
After signing his contract, Scott commented: “I am delighted to have signed for Newport Gwent Dragons for the coming season. As an outsider looking in, it is clearly a club making progress, with a batch of talented young players.
“I'm looking forward to joining the club and playing my part in that journey.”
He continued: “On a personal level I’m relishing the prospect of working with and continuing my development under Lyn Jones again. I enjoyed my time with Lyn at London Welsh and I’m looking forward to working in the environment he creates again.”
Director of Rugby, Lyn Jones added: “We have made two excellent additions to our squad for the coming season, both have much more to offer after having made excellent starts to their careers.
“Nick was excellent for London Welsh when we last worked together and Adam Warren is very keen to add to his international appearance and a fresh team will offer a focus for him.”
