The regional side took away a bonus point win in Ireland and will look to remain at the top of the table this weekend by repeating the fantastic match they had last weekend as they take on Jersey RFC at Pandy Park, Sunday 22nd November KO 15:00.

Full back Geraint Rhys Jones retains his place and is joined by Dragons wingers Aled Brew and Aaron Warren. The centre partnership of Barney Nightingale and Adam Jones remains untouched as well as the half backs Angus O’Brien and Luc Jones.

The front row has one change made to it as Leon Brown joins fellow Cross Keys prop Luke Garrett. They are joined by hooker Hugh Gustafson, who once again is named as skipper.  The second row retain their jerseys as Scott Andrews and Ashley Sweet are given the nod and the coaching staff have put their faith in a back row of Scott Matthews, James Benjamin and number 8 Harri Keddie.

The replacements bench has one change made to it as Josh Skinner is named alongside Thomas Rhys Thomas, Richard Cornock, Alex Jeffries, Adam Brown, Owen Davies and Arwel Robson.

Looking towards the match at Pandy Park this weekend, Cross Keys head coach Greg Woods commented: “It’s fantastic to be playing at Pandy Park. It’s my home ground and we (Cross Keys) have had some great experiences in the British and Irish Cup tournament but we are all really excited about how this new team is formed alongside the principles and values that support that.

“But for me to be coaching a Newport Gwent Dragons Premiership Select side at my home ground is a fantastic responsibility which I am looking forward to.”

Woods also commented on the opposition and what he thought they would bring to the match this Sunday: “Jersey RFC is going to be a typical English Championship side with a big heavy pack dominating the game. We have got to make sure that we match that up front and try and get the pace of the game really high.

“It’s a huge challenge physically but its one that the boys from Gwent will thrive on.”
