We Fight Any Claim Family Zone
The We Fight Any Claim Family Zone opens at 17:00 with the bar opening at 17:30. There will be many indoor activities for kids inside the WFAC Family Zone as our Community Department offer the services of face painters, fete stalls, indoor golf and rugby ball skills, just to name a few. In addition to this young guns Ollie Griffiths and Elliot Dee will be signing autographs from 18:15 onwards. Remember to use the #WFACFamZone hashtag when taking selfies with the players.
Half Time Entertainment
With lots going on at Rodney Parade for your half-time entertainment we can announce that the signing of the Armed Forces Community Covenant for Newport will take place on the pitch. This is a pledge of support between the civilian community and its armed forces community. Soon after this our Monmouthshire Building Society Kicking Competition will start and entrants will be in with the chance or winning a cash prize courtesy of the building society. The winners will then be invited back for the kick off grand finale at the end of the season where they will have the chance of winning a larger prize.
If you are keen to get involved, please contact Mike Sage at Newport Gwent Dragons Community Department – mike.sage@rodneyparadeltd.com
Half time will also see Mike Aubrey, who is a Tom Jones tribute act, take to the pitch with a few of Jones’ classics.
Parking Restrictions
Building work has begun, to install a new water main along the entire length of Rodney road. The work is scheduled to take 8 weeks to complete. During this time there will be three traffic light controlled areas which will cause further traffic delays for supporters and local residents, so we urge fans to park in the city centre and use the footbridge to get to Rodney Parade to avoid these delays.
Post Match
Supporters will also be able to catch the Tom Jones tribute act after the match in the We Fight Any Claim Family Zone Marquee.
