The Challenge formed part of the Dragons' pre-season preparations with the squad taking part in a range of events adapted from the Strongman Series. These included truck pulls, atlas stones, a keg toss and tyre flips.
The entire Dragons squad took part in the Strongman Challenge, with the exception of players who played in the Welsh Leg of the Singha 7’s at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park. This included new signings Pat Howard, Sam Hobbs, Sam Beard, Nick Macleod, Craig Mitchell and Thomas Davies.
The truck pull events involved a Truck, owned by Dragons' Sponsor B & T Hicks along with the Dragons' Kit Van, owned by Dragons' Commercial Vehicles Partner David Spear.
