"Players Must Show Their Best Game" - Valeyev

Enisei-STM Head Coach Vakil Valeyev welcomed his new signings to the training camp ahead of Dragons clash.

Enisei coach Valeyev was pleased with his team's preparations at their training camp aheadof Friday's clash against the Dragons.

"It went according to plan. The conditions were very comfortable," Valeyev reported on the team website.

However after going down 21-28 to the Welsh region at Slava Stadium in October, the Enisei coach knows his team will have to raise their game when they take on the Dragons in the reverse encounter at Rodney Parade.

"The tasks of Yenisei-STM for this match: selflessly play in defense and clearly cope with your ball, try to show your best game - to be on par with rival," he added.

Out in Russia, the Dragons raced into a 21-nil lead, with Amos, Rosser and Cory Hill on the scoresheet before Charlie Davies claimed the bonus point score to settle Welsh nerves after Enisei had forged a fightback.

In preparation for the Dragons clash Enisei have strengthened their hand with a triple signing and Valeyev expects his two new backs Kwi Kinji and Argentinian Giliberti to feature on Friday.

"Richard Kinji and Feder Giliberti are high-level players, very experienced," he said. "We will flirt with them in the nearest match, I think that they will be in the starting lineup.

"In the training process, there was little language barrier, we coped with communication with the newcomers quickly."

Tickets for tomorrow night's clash are available now priced from £10 for adults if purchased before midnight tonight. CLICK HERE to secure your tickets.
