The Dragons are launching a series of Skills Sessions for players in U12/U13 and U14 age groups. The sessions will be delivered by the current Dragons Regional Age Grade Coaches and are open to all players within the specified age group.
The sessions are an opportunity for players to receive additional coaching from the Regional Age Grade Coaches on their core skills to support their involvement in Club and Schools rugby. All sessions are free to participate in and open to players of all abilities.
The first round of sessions will be on starting this month for U12s age group for the coming season a the following locations:
U12s Skills Sessions – 2 centres – CSE, Ystrad Mynach and Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre 3G
Monday 10th July – 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
Wednesday 12th July - 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
The Dragons will be running further skills sessions for U13s and U14s on the following dates:
U13s Skills Sessions – 2 centres – CSE, Ystrad Mynach and North Gwent venue TBC
Monday 18th September – 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
Wednesday 20thth September - 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
U14s Skills Sessions – 2 centres – CSE, Ystrad Mynach and North Gwent venue TBC
Monday 20th November – 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
Wednesday 22nd November - 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm
Please note that these sessions are for the development of young players and are not selection opportunities or trials. No Regional or District Teams are run in these age groups and we encourage all players to fully embrace playing opportunities at club and school level.
