We Fight Any Claim Family Zone

The #WFACFamZone is back for 2017/18 boasting a new layout with a variety of new seating, including our bar side tables and stools. As always, the Family Zone hosts a range of pre-match entertainment and community activity. Supporters are welcome in the Family Zone from 1:15pm.

Meet the Players

Dragons players will be making appearances in and around the Family Zone in the build-up to the match. Players will be chatting to fans, meeting and greeting young supporters and signing autographs. Two players will also take part in a pre-match Q&A at 2:45pm, which will be hosted by the Dragons Supporters Club.

Players will also be in the club shop where supporters can pick up our new home and away jerseys!

Tata Steel U8’s TAG Festival

Under 8’s teams will take part in a round robin tournament on the Rodney Parade Training Pitch, situated outside the Family Zone, in the build up to the match. All 73 clubs across the Dragons Region with mini divisions have been invited to compete at either the first or second match of the season, with up to 40 clubs expected to be involved.

All teams taking part will then be given the chance to showcase their skills in a TAG Rugby demonstration on the field of play at half time. This means juniors will be among the very first to step onto the brand new playing surface. Teams will perform in front of thousands of supporters, and play a key role in the match day experience for our opening two matches.

All coaches and players involved with Tata Steel’s TAG Festival, along with parents, have been invited to enjoy the match at a discounted price. This is part of our Community scheme to engage Clubs and help us to build on the family atmosphere at Rodney Parade. For more information and to apply for discounted Club tickets please email mike.sage@dragonsrugby.wales.

Burnett Suite & Supporters Bars

New for this season we are opening our Burnett Suite Bar, located above the changing rooms at the end of the Hazel Stand. This pitch viewed facility will be open before and after the match, and allows supporters to catch up in a traditional rugby environment. The bar will open from 1:30pm for all supporters.

We will also have extra provisions for this match with various pop-up bars in the Bisley Stand, Hazell Stand and on the North Stand. As well as having various food and drink outlets around the training pitch.

Please Note: The Clubhouse in the Snelling Lounge are now closed.
