This year’s event will see around 45,000 fans watch the Dragons take on Scarlets and Cardiff Blues face Ospreys and with 15 young guns having made their debuts for the Dragons this season the youngsters are looking forward to the match.

“Playing against the Scarlets will be tough, but it will be a great experience for our younger players,” stated Chapron.

“They will be running in the best stadium in the world which will bode well for their futures.”

He continued; “I think that we will be up for the challenge. Our performances have been better of late and it was a good second half display in Treviso last weekend where a lot of our younger players stood up.

“We have had 15 players make their professional debuts this season and it is all about giving them game time to help delop them for the future.

“These youngsters want to be Dragons – they are coming through as a group and we are looking to them to stick tight together and come through in the next three to five years.”

With over 45,000 tickets sold for the regional event a crowd in excess of 50,000 is expected for one of the biggest rugby days in the Guinness PRO14 calendar.

Tickets are on sale now from www.wru.wales/tickets, priced £10 for each seat in the ground with a £1-per-ticket online booking fee, as well as postage (Print at home e-tickets are also available), payable at the time of purchase.
