Four players, Zane Kirchner, Harri Keddie, Max Williams and Calvin Wellington, have returned to full fitness to be named in the match-day 23, with Keddie being selected as this weekend’s skipper.
Captain Keddie makes his first appearance for the Dragons since September 2017 after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Fullback Carl Meyer is joined in the back three by experienced wing Pat Howard and young gun Rio Dyer, who makes his debut for the Welsh Region. The centre partnership sees Sam Beard and Connor Edwards selected, with Zane Kirchner returning to the starting XV at fly-half and Dan Babos at scrum-half.
An experienced front row is named as props Sam Hobbs and Nicky Thomas are selected alongside hooker Liam Belcher. The second row sees the return of Max Williams, as he joins seasoned lock Rynard Landman, whilst the back row sees James Sheekey and Robson Blake join Keddie.
The replacements bench includes Henri Williams, Callum Morris and Calvin Wellington who are set to make their Dragons senior debuts off the bench.
Looking ahead to the Anglo-Welsh Cup clash, James Chapron said; “Saracens are a really good team, they have a lot of depth and a really good academy system, that produces talent for them. If you look at their last Anglo-Welsh campaign Will Skelton played for them and I think that if we can go there and put a good performance in, its good for the players on the field for their careers.
“Bernard (Jackman) wants people to work hard and make the Region proud of them and I think that this squad has to go down there with that in mind and if we can cause something of an upset then its puts those
