Dragons say thanks to departing players

The departing members of the 2017-18 Dragons squad were thanked for their services with a shirt presentation at this evening’s End of Season Dinner.

Commenting on the departures at tonight’s event Dragons Head Coach Bernard Jackman said; “On behalf of everyone at the Dragons I would like to thank those that are moving on for their commitment and professionalism during their time at this region.

“We wish them all the best for their next steps in their careers.”

Off the field the Dragons say goodbye to backs coach Shaun Connor, strength and conditioning coach Simon Church as well as physiotherapists Kate Williams and Gavin Daglish.

The Dragons have already confirmed ten new signings for the 2018/19 season: Ross Moriarty, Richard Hibbard, Jordan Williams, Rhodri Williams, Ryan Bevington, Josh Lewis, Huw Taylor, Rhodri Davies, Aaron Jarvis and Dafydd Howells, plus new contracts have been agreed with Captain Cory Hill and nine other first team players Elliot Dee, Leon Brown, Joe Davies, Jack Dixon, Ollie Griffiths, James Benjamin, Harri Keddie, Aaron Wainwright and Tyler Morgan.
