Hibbard knows all about the Saints after his playing spell across the bridge at Gloucester Rugby.
And he acknowledged Dragons have got to be ready to take their English opponents on ‘as a pack’ to maintain and undefeated start to the European season.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” he said. “They are coming off the back of a heavy loss at home. They will be fired up massively. It’s going to be a massive clash.
“We got a good result (in Romania) and will be full of confidence. If we play well, and get a good win, it sets us up nicely to get out of this pool.
“We learned in pre-season we’ve got to be good in the pack against them. They got on top of us in that game and we gave needless penalties away.
"We will take them on as an eight, there is no individuals we are concerned about. We will take them on as a pack.”
Hibbard has also revealed how much he is enjoying life back in Wales with Dragons.
“I’m enjoying it. It is good being back in Wales, good to be back with my mates,” he said.
“Sometimes it is hard, not getting the results you want, but we keep improving and it is good to see that.
“You want to get better and better, seeing your game improve and start picking up those real crucial wins.”
