Wales international Amos has been out of action since dislocating his elbow in the away clash at Leinster.
However, the flying back is now set to make his league comeback and give both his region and country and a lift.
“It’s fantastic to have Hallam back, he is looking really sharp and it’s a massive boost for the whole squad,” said forwards coach Ceri Jones.
“Hallam is very quick, very elusive and has a great offloading game. He is an X-factor player who can make things happen for us.
“Look at Jordan Williams and look at Hallam Amos and they can make things happen from nothing, like Jordan’s try at Leinster.
“Hallam is capable of those moments and players like that can make space where other people can’t.”
Jones admits that lock Matthew Screech (ankle) is a major doubt for the trip to Galway but the return of Joe Davies has been a lift for the second row.
“It was good to see Joe Davies go so well last night (against Hong Kong),” added Jones.
“He came on against Ulster and it’s good to have him back to form. I thought he was outstanding against Hong Kong so it’s good to see him back.
“He is a big guy, one of the biggest guys in our pack, and he will give us something different."
