A dazzling try by Mason Grady in the dying stages secured a thrilling 18-14 victory against France in the final game of the U18 International Series in Wellington.
Wales, who included Dragons duo Ben Carter and Morgan Richards in the starting line-up, looked set for defeat when Enzo Lanzutti scored late on.
However, Wales showed huge tenacity to work their way back upfield from the re-start before Grady received the ball wide out and he blazed through the French defence to score his second try of the match.
Carrick McDonough, Ollie Howard and Jake Morgan also represented Dragons in the Under-18s clash in South Africa as the tour came to a close.
