Dragons centre Tiaan Loots has left the region with immediate effect.
The 27-year-old moved to Rodney Parade in the summer of 2018 from RGC 1404.
However, the South African failed to make a senior appearance last season after injuring a pectoral muscle in the Celtic Cup fixture with Connacht Eagles in September.
The Cape Town born back has now been released early from his contract to join the Houston Sabercats in Major League Rugby in the USA.
