Three To Watch:
Ashley Beck
Wales international Ashley Beck arrived at Sixways from Ospreys in the summer of 2018. The centre made his Warriors debut against Sale Sharks in September 2018 and started his first game for the Club against Exeter Chiefs three weeks later. However, Beck was then ruled out for the rest of 2018/19 campaign when he broke his leg against Stade Francais in Europe. Beck came through the Ospreys Academy and represented Wales at Under 16, 18 and 20 levels. He went on to make his full Wales debut against Australia in 2012 and won seven caps for his country, also crossing for two tries.
Ted Hill
Ted Hill joined the Warriors Senior Academy ahead of the 2017/18 campaign. The back row was handed his first-team debut against Sale in the Anglo-Welsh Cup at Sixways in November 2017 but waited almost another year until he really burst on the scenes. The talented forward was called up to the full England squad for the 2018 autumn internationals and made his England debut against Japan in November at the age of only 19.
Duncan Weir
Scotland international Duncan Weir made his mark in his first season in the Gallagher Premiership after joined Warriors from Edinburgh in the summer of 2018. Weir proved to be an influential play-maker and accurate kicker who topped 250 points in all rugby in his first season at Sixways. The fly-half has a wealth of top-level experience, having played 27 times for his country and making two appearances at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Weir featured in all but one of Scotland’s 6 Nations campaigns between 2012 and 2017. At club level, Weir played over 100 times for Glasgow Warriors as they reached five consecutive Pro 12 semi-finals from 2012 to 2016, finishing as runners-up in 2014 and winning the competition in 2015.
