Dragons captain Cory Hill has today (Tuesday) been ruled out of the remainder of Wales’ Six Nations campaign.
Second row Hill was restored to the starting line-up last weekend and was a try-scoring hero for Wales as they defeated England at Principality Stadium.
However, the 27-year-old – who has won 24 international caps - will now miss the rest of the tournament due to an ankle injury sustained in the fixture against England.
Coach Neil Jenkins said: “Cory was outstanding on Saturday, with his try as well, and he is a fantastic player for us and a good person around the squad.
“He is certainly going to be a loss, but with any squad any loss is somebody else’s opportunity and we have got some fantastic players in that position.
“It will be interesting to see who plays in the last few games. It is sad for Cory, but an opportunity for somebody else.”
