Doopoll helps deliver Ultimate XV

Supporters voted for their favourite players to pull on a Dragons jersey as part of the Ultimate XV campaign thanks to a fantastic link-up with award-winning tech firm Doopoll.

With rugby and all sports suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we gave fans the chance to vote for their favourite ever Dragons.

Then we teamed up with the other regions to engage with tens of thousands of fans via social media - in a tie up with Doopoll. Fans were offered a choice of up to six players for each position in each region per day. In a huge response more than 50,000 votes have been cast.

Steve Dimmick from Doopoll, said: “At Doopoll we’re huge Welsh rugby fans and so to play our part in keeping the fans engaged during a really tough time for the sport is a total honour.

“We’re proud to have facilitated the regions campaign to find their Ultimate XV and look forward to seeing the wider rugby community follow suit.”
