Boss Dean Ryan revealed integrating players back into the fold as quickly as possible would be his top priority with Guinness PRO14 derby action on the horizon.
Dragons welcome Cardiff Blues to Rodney Parade on Boxing Day (kick-off 3pm) as they launch a busy festive period that will also see fixtures with Ospreys and Scarlets.
Ryan’s men will be boosted by the return of a number of key players who were forced to sit out the Heineken Champions Cup double header with Wasps and Bordeaux-Begles.
“We’ve got lots of players coming back at the end of their isolation so integrating them will be the main focus,” admitted the Director of Dragons Rugby.
“I have never experienced this before, we have so many different people at different stages in terms of momentum.
“We’ve just got to try and do that as quickly as we can at the beginning of the week.
“We’re looking forward to it, derby games are fantastic,” he added. “But it is challenging circumstances for everybody at the moment. You have seen that in many games across this weekend.
“Let’s home everyone comes through this weekend safely and we can look forward to playing in the derby games.”
