Dragons will be sporting a new-look jersey in tonight’s Heineken Champions Cup fixture in France – as we say a huge ‘Diolch’ to the NHS!
Due to legislation in France, our front of shirt sponsor Doom Bar is unable to be shown for the Round 2 clash with Bordeaux-Begles at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
So, we decided to use the front of our jerseys to send out an important message after what has been a year like no other.
With a testing centre for the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board based at Rodney Parade for much of this year, we have seen first-hand the incredible work of the NHS throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
With that in mind, when Dean Ryan’s men run out this evening in the south west of France they proudly have the message ‘Diolch NHS’ emblazoned across their chests!
Diolch NHS!
