It was double delight for Dragons Under-16s on Wednesday evening as they secured two impressive victories in the Regional Age Grade Championship.
Dragons Under-16s Red entertained Cardiff Blues Under-16s South at Ystrad Mynach and produced an impressive display to claim a first win of the season with a 24-20 success.
Hooker and captain Sam Reed led by example as he grabbed a brace of tries in the first half.
Number Eight Lewis Robey and wing Maxwell Thomas Frost also crossed the whitewash in the second half for a bonus point win. Fly half Sam Berry slotted two conversions.
There was also welcome success for Dragons Under-16s Black who produced a stunning show in Bridgend to claim a 26-14 victory over Ospreys Under-16s East.
Wing Gruff Davies grabbed two tries while centre Archie Hossack and wing Walker Price were also scorers. Aneurin Williams and Sam Gibson slotted conversions in a bonus point win.
