Fly half Arwel Robson and centre Connor Edwards have today joined Greene King IPA Championship side Jersey Reds on loan.
Robson and Edwards, both 22, have linked up with the Reds on an initial one-month deal and are in contention for the league clash with Bedford Blues on Saturday.
Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: “This is a great opportunity for both Arwel and Connor to go into an environment and get some game time as part of their development.
“We look forward to seeing how both perform in the English Championship. It is a tough and physical league and it’s a great opportunity for these young men to get different experiences as they continue to grow.”
Robson has made 22 appearances for Dragons since his debut in November 2016, scoring 90 points in all competitions for the region.
Edwards has made 12 appearances for the region since the Dragons Academy ace made his regional debut in November 2017.
Harvey Biljon, Jersey Reds Director of Rugby, added: “Both Arwel and Connor are really promising young players who have been on my radar for a while. I’m really pleased to be bringing them to Jersey ahead of a critical phase of our season.”
