Community spirit in Gwent is renowned and now, in partnership with our community team, there's now an opportunity to show why we're a real family orientated operation with our ‘Dragons Deliver' initiative, during what's set to be a difficult time for many due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Players and staff will be contacting all of its elderly supporters and those with a disability, drawing information from records held, to offer the help of the Community team and Dragons' supporters. We will also be helping those who become house-bound through illness.
We’re making an appeal to Dragons supporters who are in a position to help others to show the famed community ethos - and come forward with their offer to volunteer; whether that be chats on the phone, picking up shopping or some general maintenance tasks.
Those willing to help fellow Dragons should email info@dragonsrugby.wales
When writing, please include your full name, mobile number and postcode (Client Reference number if known would be great, too).
Dragons staff will then give all would-be volunteers a ring to help establish the type of things they can help with and the likely timings that help might be available, matching locations of those offering helping hands with those needing extra assistance.
Dragons Deliver - a chance for supporters to show why family and community values are so important to all of the team’s supporters.
