30/03/2020

Ever wanted to pick your all-time Dragons XV? Well now you can with our new Ultimate XV feature – in association with doopoll - that will help fans decide our best ever line-up!

Over the next three weeks we will encouraging fans to vote for their favouriite player in each position – starting today (Monday) with the Loosehead Prop position!

Do you have a favourite ever player who ran out at Rodney Parade? Were your idols from back when regional rugby launched or do you prefer more modern-day heroes?

We have gone back in the archives to pick five players for each position - but if you think someone else you can nominate them too!

We are encouraging as many fans as possible to get involved and everyone who signs up will be entered into a prize draw for a Dragons jersey.

We’re kicking things off with the front row, as our supporters decide which Loosehead Prop deserves a place in the all-time line-up.

We’ve narrowed it down to these five nominees to help you make your choice:

  • Adam Black (2003-2009): 163 appearances: Romford-born prop Black earned legendary status during his six years at Rodney Parade. Black, who also played for Wasps, Bedford, Sale Sharks, Ebbw Vale and Worcester Warriors, played international rugby for England Under-21s.
  • Brok Harris (2014 to present): 122 appearances: Front row ace Brok Harris moved to Dragons in 2014 and has clocked up over a century of appearances since his regional debut against Harlequins. The South African - who qualified for Wales through residency in 2017 – previously played for Super Rugby side the Stormers and represented Western Province in the Currie Cup.
  • Phil Price (2009-2018): 159 appearances: Bridgend-born Price was a cult hero for fans during almost a decade of service for Dragons. Price, who represented Wales at Under-18 and Under-19 level, would later move to regional rivals Scarlets.
  • Rod Snow (2003-2005): 41 appearances: Canadian star Snow featured for Newport for ten years before making over 40 appearances in regional rugby for the Dragons. Snow also made 62 appearances for Canada.
