Centre Tyler Morgan admitted it has been a ‘dream to play for the team I grew up watching’ after sealing a move to Scarlets.
Morgan, 24, was one of six senior players it was confirmed earlier this month would leave at the end of their current contract at Rodney Parade.
The Wales international has now signed for Scarlets and on his departure admitted the chance to play for Dragons had meant a huge amount to him.
“It’s been 89 games over seven years, it was a dream to play for the team I grew up watching,” said Morgan, in a post to his followers.
“Can't thank Dragons, and everyone involved, enough for every opportunity they gave me!
“I've made some amazing memories with a great group of blokes over the years!
“The support has been amazing down Rodney Parade, even through tough times, and I’m gutted I couldn't finish my season there.
“It was time for a change and couldn't be more excited to get going again.”
