Hooker Ellis Shipp has become the latest player to agree a new contract at Dragons.
The Dragons Academy product and former Wales Under-20s international, who has played 19 games for Dragons and scored two tries, has put pen to paper to continue his time with his home region.
The 22-year-old will now compete alongside senior duo Elliot Dee and Richard Hibbard for senior game time at Rodney Parade.
"Ellis has impressed with his attitude this season and has performed well when he has earned an opportunity,” said Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby.
“He is eager to continue to develop here and learn from the senior players around him.”
Abergavenny-born Shipp becomes the latest player to extend his stay at the region with pack members Ross Moriarty, Ollie Griffiths, Taine Basham, Brok Harris, Aaron Jarvis and Huw Taylor having all signed.
The front row made his debut for Dragons in May 2017, as a replacement in the league fixture with Cardiff Blues.
Shipp, who has played for Cross Keys, Ebbw Vale and Bedwas in the Welsh Premiership, was previously part of the Wales Under-20s squad that competed in the World Rugby Under-20s Championships in Georgia in 2017.
Shipp said: “I’m happy to be signing a new contract at my home region and looking forward to the future at the Dragons.”
